Our Spanish Immersion Winter Day Camps are designed to give children a unique opportunity to learn or improve their Spanish language skills. During each day, students participate in interactive games, music and movement activities, and art projects that center around a specific winter-time theme. Beginning students will learn basic language skills to supplement the vocabulary linked to each theme; more advanced students will learn useful phrases and practice their conversation skills.
Half Day: 9am to 12pm – $45/day
Full Day: 9am to 3pm – $70/day
Before care available from 8-9am for $8

Maximum of 16 students per session.
You need not be enrolled in Viva el Español’s on-going classes to join in the fun!
Wondrous Winter Animals / Animales Maravillosos de Invierno

Imagine a land of perpetual light where great heaves of broken ice are gleaming in the sunlight. A family of hares can be seen in the distance, jumping around the tundra like big snowballs. A lone polar bear stalks along the ice, hunting her next meal. Far out along the sea ice, dark cracks and holes have opened up, providing breathing holes for seals. Join us to learn about these wondrous winter animals and their icy cool habitats!
Winter Sports Challenge / Competencia de Deportes de Invierno

Imagine a full day of activities for snow sport lovers! Through games and hands-on activities, we’ll learn vocabulary and phrases related to skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, bobsledding, ice hockey and more! Your little sports stars will play games, win medals, and come home with a whole new set of vocabulary for things they love to do!
New Year’s Party / Fiesta de Año Nuevo

Join us for a magical celebration to ring in the New Year – Latin American Style! Filled with party hats, noise makers, sparklers, games and fun customs… from eating 12 grapes and putting lentils in your wallet to sweeping the floors and running around the neighborhood with suitcases! We will help you learn vocabulary related to new year’s, celebrations, and much more!
