Tuition for Mandarin is $650 per semester. A $100 registration and materials fee is due annually.
All classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Piedmont Community Church. Classes begin Sept. 9th, 2019 and end May 22nd, 2020. All holidays follow the Piedmont Unified School District calendar. The student to teacher ratio will not exceed 13 to 1
Tuition payments are paid by semester ($650) plus an annual $100 registration fee for each enrolled child. Payment for at least one semester is due at time of registration to ensure your student’s placement in the class.
I understand that my payment of semester tuition ($650) and an annual materials fee ($100) secures a place in a PLS Mandarin class for my child for the first semester of the 2019-2020 school year (September 10, 2019 – January 16, 2020).
I understand that the Mandarin program is a year long program made up of two semesters, but we pay by semester. Re-enrollment and tuition payment for semester two (January 21, 2020 – May 21, 2020) will take place in late late fall of 2019.
Should I choose to withdraw my child from the program before August 13, 2019, my full semester tuition will be refunded but the $100 annual materials fee will not be returned.
Should I choose to withdraw my child from the program between August 14 and September 9, 2019, 80% of my semester tuition will be refunded but the $100 annual materials fee will not be returned.
Should I choose to withdraw my child from the program between September 10 – September 24, 2019, 70% of my semester tuition will be refunded but the $100 annual materials fee will not be returned.
There is no refund for semester one after September 25, 2019.
